mark3, I have owned both Suzuki 250R and Honda 250R - in fact I still own a '92 Quadracer. I find that the Suzuki jumps a little better, not much difference, but a little. The Suzuki is also lighter than the Honda, and has a slightly stronger pull out of the corners and off the start than the Honda. The Honda handles in the corners better, and is a better built quad, as well as a little faster on top end. Both quads are good and can be modified anyway you need. Keep in mind, you can buy a Suzuki a little cheaper than a Honda, but the aftermarket still makes parts for both with a few more accesories offered for the Honda. Try to stay away from the '86 and '86 model quadracers - the newer models are better.
