jetting the blaster

Default jetting the blaster

what should the jetting be on a 98blaster with the following mods, bored .040, bills pipe with stock silencer, and im not sure what reed yet, thanks

i have a 280 right now with pipe k a n filter no lid stock reeds

wow a 280 seems really big for those mods, i've got pro-circuit pipe and a twin air filter and a 240 runs really well for me, a 250 was to big

i would say you can pic up a 250 and a 260 at your local dealer for about $4.00 and one of those should probably work, if not at least you will be close

i have no air box lid thats why so big more air u need more gas

hey doubles! if im correct the stock main jet in a blaster is a 250 prior to like 99 an a 260 after(i think). u could probly run like a 270.

umm the shop manual clearly says that the stock main jet is a 260.

im looking at the stock jet right now and i double checked in my manual and mine definately came with a 230.

-your in florida and im in kentucky, thats prolly why there is such a big difference, altitudes and all that crap.
