Are you just going to be in swamps and mud? Reason I ask is because if you do mostly trail riding why not stay stock size and get the ITP Holeshot ATR or Ducks Unlimited. They both have great traction and are a radial tire which makes everything so much better. Better Traction, Better handleing, Doesn't tear up the trails, looks sweet. But if you are just mudding then go with the bigger size and more agressive tire but you will lose alot of power.

Windmill,
I am gonna be riding on a variety of surfaces, Hardpack, dirt trails, grass, rocks, mud (a little, not much), wood paths, hills......
I wanted something with a thick tread to last longer. I was gonna get 26" for ground clearance because I don't want a lift..... I've looked at both the tires you mentioned but they don't have enough tread for me....
Do you know of a better tire for me?? Not to expensive, and will look good???

Ya if you want more tread I would say the 25" XL MudLites would be the way to go plus they are cheap to. I've ridden on alot of tires I just like the way the radial tires handles. You could try the Mud Lite XTR tires which are radial and you would have the best of both worlds. They are 26" tires so you would get the ground clearance (about 1/2 inch) .

MudLite XTR

I still say for what you want to ride on the holeshot are the way to go. They won't wear down as fast as you think either. Let us know what you decide to go with and a ride report after you get them.

The Wetlands are a great all around tire IMO and won't be anything to be ashamed of at all in mud unless you get into hard - core mud. I'm sure the mudlite radials are better, but they are just too damn much money in my opinion. I have Wetlands 26x8x12 on the front and 26x10x12 on the rear and IMO they are just the right size and just about the lightest radial that does great in mud. I put Douglas 12x6 rims on the front and their Rokstar 12x7 rims on the rear. I originally didn't want the back of my quad to be so wide, but it feels nice and stable. You really notice the grip over stock tires with 4WD on. Tread is 3/4. I own the 05 Kodiak 400. I couldn't be happier, but it all depends what you are looking for. Different strokekes for different folks.
