Hey im 15 yr old boy and im 5'6. My dads friend is sellin his blaster and i was wondering if tha would be right for me. I would use it at a private lake that isnt that big. I would mostly be ridding it through trails and on the river. Please tell me some good things about it and some bad things about it. I need alot of info before i buy it.

 

well blasters are great little machines but if you plan on eating your vegatables and growing you might grow out of it pretty fast. but yeah it would do great for what you want. but im confused you said on the river. just incase you didnt know the blasters not a jet ski lol and they dont hydroplane like snowmobiles. but yeah and if you get sick of the power you can mod them till pigs fly or you outgrow it. i would go sit on it and drive it and see how you like. unless its a really good deal i would get something like a warrior, 300ex, 400ex or a z400 if you can afford them. they are fourstrokes and are better for the trails and you wont grow out of them as fast. just my .02

 

Yea this blaster is in good shape and the guy only wants $1900 for it and i think it has some aftermarket parts. LOL yea on the river i just ride on the sand bars. We get long stretches of sand where we can ride and race. My uncle has a 400ex and i loved it but my parents dont really wanna buy me a 4 to 5 thousdand dollar quad.

 

I'm 15 and 5'6, too, but a girl. I just bought a new 05 blaster yesturday and I fit on it fine and I love it already. I use it for basically the same as you..trails and just having fun. For the price, you can't beat it. And theres tons of aftermarket parts out there to mod it to your hearts content, lol.

 

I love my blaster. I ride mine on trails and i race harescrambles with it. If it is in good shape i say buy the blaster. Im 16 and im 6'2' and fit on my blaster ( i had to move the bars up). If you get the blaster....... BE SHURE to let it idle for at least a minute before you take off. I didnt do that for about 3 months and i blew the piston. If you get it i suggest getting an aftermarket exhaust system for it.
