Default fuel filter

can anybody tell me if a 1999 kodiak has a fuel filter and if so where is it located?

well i am just taking a guess but logically it probally would be spliced into the fuel line that runs from the petcock to the carb or at least thats where you would put an aftermarket one

Default fuel filter

I doubt it has one. I had to add an inline filter to all of my bikes, even the new ones. Just cut the fuel hose between tank and carb and stick it in. I think they all need one.
