does anyone know the top speed of the yfz450. looking at getting one and was wondering the top speed

 

Probably around 80 mph stock! Them things are one of the fastest quads out there!

 

No your're probably looking at 71-73mph range. But if you install a pipe and do the old cam mod you might be seing speeds close to if not 80, but not stock.

 

I've got a 2000 Yamaha WR400F dirtbike and it's stock and it does 90 MPH! If I did some mods to and changed the sprocket for the gearing I could get it to 120 MPH! Which is way to fast for me! 60 MPH is plenty fast for me! I mostly ride trails on my WR400F and I can beat any quad no matter what the mods! Not on a drag race though probably some quads have faster accelleration because of mods! I would like to drag race A YFZ450!
