I recently purchased this bike to replace my aging kawi. Never owning a Yamaha I have nothing to compare this too, sooo. First, when shifting the transmission into any position, it takes a second for the bike to drop into gear. I can also rock the bike and it drops right in. Is this a problem or just usual for a bike with 2400 miles on it? Second, from what I can tell, the air intake opens into the right side fender well (looking at the bike from the back). Could I be missing a part of the intake or could this be something else besides the intake? Third, the engine braking only works when depressing the rear brake, is this by design? Besides heat issues are there any problems with this model I should know about?
