i have an 87 warrior and just purchased a power core 4 pipe and rejetted now im looking for front suspension. i am a 15y/o on a budget and would not like to spend much more than $300 i was wondering if it would be better to buy new shocks like works or find used raptor or yfz shocks, and if so which ones would be better for the type of riding that i do. i ride mainly in fields and woods but like to jump also. any help is appreciated. thanks[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

well i blew out 3 front shocks on the warrior..so i ended up getting the lowest model works shocks with dual rate springs....they are super super nice and they ride so soft going slow but then when u smoke somethin hard they stiffen up i think u would really like the works shocks...nothing bad about them and they go for a good price.

 

how much did you pay for you works shocks? if im not mistaken they run around $340 for the no rez shocks

 

Suspension components are crazy expensive. Probably the most expensive parts. But they make a huge different in anything other than a straight line. Id' say save up the pennies.

how well do yfz or raptor front shocks work on a warrior is there any difference between the two?
