i knew it!...i went to Stephen Wade Powersports in Utah to see if the new quads are in yet, and the idiot guy there said like 3 more months before they start coming out...and that they would be one of the first places to get it in the country...I TOLD HIM "NOOOOOOO i dont think so....my atv forum has been buzzing with word that this week is when a few people are getting theirs!!!" and he was trying to sell the Yamaha Special Editions by saying u will be special if u have one. and he didnt know what was different about them other than the price is $200 more..he couldnt even add, he was saying the regular yfz450's are $6900 and the SE is $7300 (200 more huh??..yah) ..i shoulda taught him a few things i know that are actually different on the SE..besides the price...lol...he gotta know less than an unborn baby...well.. no offense, but thats the kinda people i usually have to deal with when visitin that part of Utah.

 

No call here yet but now that someone has gotten a call i will be settin at work everyday from here on watchin for the cell phone to light up "incoming call" hahah

 

That sucks raptor350chick. I had a guy pull that same crap with me about 2 weeks ago. He was saying it would be mid or late aug, and kept trying to push the 2005 special edition yfz on me. Not that it isn't an incredible bike, it just wasn't what I was looking for. There are far to many of these salesmen being total liars out there just to sell current stock.

 

ill believe it when i see it... i'm in california and its probably #1 for atv's and no dealership's here are getting them til like aug.. i dont believe it until i see multiple pics and then i dunno because yamaha has demoed them out and been to parks nationwide.... i talked to the regional rep for california today and told me no one has them yet and wont until august sometime...

 

You can believe whatever you want to Vinny, being it's a free country and all. What reason would I have to lie. I just wanted to inform everyone that here they come. I didn't believe it when he called because all i've heard is late july or mid aug. I was so doubtfull that I actually called him back and made him look in the crate, and double check the packing slip. His exact words where "yep, it's the white/silver, and it says Raptor 700." and "this is my job buddy, I know what kind of bike i've got sitting in front of me" and I will be posting pictures.

 

Congrats man..That is one awsome machine! I look forwrd to seeing those pics.

If I remember correctly the other coast always seems to get them first. Don't hate because someone else may get theirs before you..........

 

The South Texas dealers are saying the same thing....late August.

 

dude some of these dealers are retards and need to pull their heads out of their asses.....but dude thats soo sweet your gettin it tomorrow I cant wait to hear how it rides compared to the 660...keep us posted
