Hi,

I'm in California and I just saw the Raptor 700s at Montclair Yamaha off the 10 freeway this past weekend. They had about 15 of them on the floor in both the blue and silver colors. I went in to get the Yamaha 660 but they made me a deal I could not refuse and purchased a 700 instead. It is great! You will not be disappointed. It is a very fast machine and I have been having a ball with it. It is great to have the gas gauge as an added feature this year. The fuel injection system is much better than the carbarator. You can feel the instant power. It takes off on a dime. This is the best ATV ever.

Hope this helps anyone who is looking for the 2006 Raptor in California.

well you guys say what you want i didnt mean it in a bad way i just said ill believe it when i see it....

and ANTGAR33 i called that dealership today and they said they werent getting any in anytime soon... its in montclair and yes off the 10 freeway... i know where it is.... btw the east coast dont get them first because they ship them frieght overseas they aren't flown over some might be i dunno this is what i been hearing from four dealerships i been in touch with in california and MONTECLAIR YAMAHA is one... oh well

if you got the new 700r POST THOSE PICS lets see what it has got.... ;-)

Was told by the dealer this morning that Yamaha would not let him sell the Raptor he recieved because it was accidentally shipped, and they have a defect. See my post titled "Mechanical Problems with the Raptor 700" for more details.

Dude don't post bull like this. This post is for people who have legitamate problems, and comments about ATV's.

 

awwww thats just disappointing...i would feel sooo bummed, that would ruin my weekend.

 

not to be mean but i knew it was a mistake there arent any raptor 700r's out yet i bet the guy misread the crate i may have been a yfz 05 or something i dunno but oh well... hopfully you get the quad soon i hate to be left hanging like that...

I am responding to my information on 700 Raptors in California. To clerify there are 700 Raptors at Montclair Yamaha (909) 946-8488. The problem I have ran into is that they were not suppose to sell them even though they were on the floor because of a recall. I just called again this morning to confirm that no they can not sell them now but the sales representative just told me that they will be available for sell next weekend which will be 7/23. I was just notified that I have to return mine due to a recall problem.

Again, I hope this helps people looking for the 700 Raptor. I would not just put anything on this website as some of you may think because I am a huge fan of ATVs especially the Raptor.
