Default Blaster Suspension

I own an '05 Blaster (see mods in sig.) and when i'm riding it, i absolutlely can't stand how hard the suspension is on it. I know you can put warrior or banshee front shocks and a 250r rear shock on it, but i want to know if you can adjust the stock shocks to make them looser/tighter. Also if anyone has made their's looser, how does it perform going over whoops and jumping it, as compared to stock.

Thanks for any help.

stock warrior shocks suck. Ive heard about the banshee shocks.. and heard that they suck. No idea about the 250r though.. just get a works suspension setup.

if your jumping your going to want it a little stiffer unless you weigh about 90lbs, and there is a bolt on the rear shock you can loosen just look at the bottom and you will see. With the front shocks i believe they have diffrent spring settings that you can change

Ok, i saw the rear shock and how to adjust it, but has anyone tried cutting the front springs? I know it sounds crazy but i'de rather do that then spend the 2k for new shocks.

Just buy some works dual rate steelers from rockymountainatv, $324 before shipping. As for the rear, a 1987 250R rear shock would work PERFECT, you will just have to buy a 14mm bolt close as the same width as your swingarm mount and drill the swingarm hole to 14mm, then it will bolt right up!

Are you serious about cutting the suspension? That would really mess it up. How much do you weigh because the suspension on a blaster is pretty loose even when its almost at its highest settings.
