Man, I wouldn't trust that situation. He has a reserve of over 2,000 and a buy it now of 2,800 but he's willing to give you a second chance offer of only $1,050 and shipping? What happened to all the other bidders between $1,050 and $2,000? Also, I wouldn't buy anything off of ebay for that price and not be there with cash at hand and get the bike at the same time. I know Illinois is pretty far away, but it may be just me, but I wouldn't do it no matter how low the price is if we can't do the swap at the same time. Never send money and expect to receive the bike. Also, that bike looks like it's been through hell and back, but looks descent for the price. I'd have to look at that one before buying. I'd look somewhere closer. Also, I sent you a pm with my new number. I'll be out all this week though. Be back friday.

Later

don`t forget about the 01 raptor tranny problems, my advice use cycle trader or something like that, get it the day a new issue comes out, have the cash ready to go and watch like a hawk for the good deals, but call quick cause they go fast

There is always a risk in buying anything used, my best friend bought a 88 250R out of the trader, he went to the guys house, rode it looked it over etc, brought it home first time he had it out on the little practice trial i had at my house the clutch blew, plates & basket. and i think it wiped out a few gears to.
