Add to your list the Prairie 650, 700, Brute Force 650, and Suzuki King Quad! And lets not forget about the new Bombardier 800. So I guess the ony Big Bore you are fater than is the Honda Rincon.

ok, guys.... i made this sound unbelievable, lol..... let me explain this. i didnt actually "smoke" a bf, i just beat it my mabe a fourth a quad length. and it definatelly is possible for a grizzly to beat a bf750..... even the guys at the dealer said so. they said that the bf has a lil more power but has just about the same top speed as the grizzly. so there is one explanation...... heres the other. idk, mabe i was crazi but i could have sworn my speedometer said 77..... mabe it was 67, but whatever. i am 100% possitive that i have gone faster than 65 on my grizzly, and mabe i wasnt going 77, but i have been close to 70. either way the stock grizzly is fast, lol.

Grizzman, this is a little more believeable. Top speed on a NEW Grizzly is about 68-70. Once the belt has broken in, the top speed will be around 65-67. You can make the Grizzly quicker (not faster) by changing the clutch springs. Something that is almost required if you go to 27" or bigger tires.

Cool.... that sounds better. Thanks for being honest with your responses. Some guys take the offensive immediateley and swear to be damned they stick to their stories.
For instance once I was beaten in a 100 yrd drag race by a Prairie 300! This is true but on launch I shredded my belt and could only LIMP in at 7 mph. So yes he beat me that time..... under extenuating circumstances of course. But to here that guy tell it.... well you get the idea.

off the start and midrange my brother took a sportsman 700 with his grizzly and he had 28' mudzillas on it and the sportmans was all stock. I waxed a sportsman 600 and i had 28' outlaws on my grizz, but we did not race up to top end, i know he would take me, but even with those 28's ( if you know what outlaws are you know what im tlaking about ) my grizz toped out at 57-58 with the 28's on it and only about 66-67 with the stockers, as far as a pairie beating a grizz. Id have to see that one happen. The only wheeler i would say could take care of a grizz would be the sportsman 800, maybe that bruteforce i dunno id rather have a grizz anyday over those

If you want to know your actual speed of the atv's, use a gps. The speed-o's vary and are not allways true. My 04 Griz speed o was off a few mph, show faster than actual. I put 27's on it and the speed-0 reads the same as the gps now. Go figure.
