Warrior info needed!!!

Well, i decided in the near future i'm goin to get any quad to compliment the Eiger. I'm really considering a Yamaha Warrior, but i do not know a ton about them. I was wondering if any knew tech probs with them, any model years to avoid, etc. I'm probably lookin at a 2000-2003. I know there is a ton of aftermarket stuff for them so not to worried about that. So any help would be great. I'll also take any other suggestions on quads. I want a 4 stroke, manual, and no more than $3500 or so.

I'd say go for it. The warrior is an awesome quad. It is known for being a tank. Very fun and reliable. You are right about lots of aftermarket parts too. If you wanna see what you could make yours look like check the link out in my pics page. I think they are awesome machines. Good luck

The warrior is bulletproof! If you want something to cruise around in the trails, this is for you. But if you are a speed maniac, you should consider something else.

Yeah, it's mainly something to go along with my wife on the Eiger. I mainly do trails with a little bit of hills and jumps, nothing fancy. I would rather get a Z400, but the price is outrageous for a used one. I can't find a decent 2003 for under $4000, but i found a 03 Warrior not to far from me for $2800 with some mods already done.

Damn, your Warrior is awesome!!!!. I really like the look of it. I really like the black & red plastic scheme, but the blue looks HOT!!!. Very nice all around.

I was going to say to look out for an older 400ex but they don't have reverse, that's if you want reverse! You'll be making a good choice picking the warrior, it's a nice machine to ride. Good luck!

The warrior is a great bike. My buddy has a modded one they move along just fine in the trails. just cause they dont win in a drag race doesnt mean they arent great machines for the trail, where 99 percent of your riding takes place.
by the way my I know its not what you'd be looking for but im selling my quadzilla, check out the pics if you want

Warrior here as well (in case the name doesn't give that away.) I love mine. Take decent care of them and they won't leave you stranded. There's a reason they've been selling them for so long with only minor changes. Rap 350 is a Warrior at heart and those are still going. Just put some good after market shoes on one and you're good to go. I love the trails and you don't need much speed there. For the Dunes she's down on power, but I still show people that it takes some skill to own the whoops.
