Obviously I mean the break in(when the engine are brand new stock)

So how do you ride, at what throttle and how many hours before your engine is ready to take the full throttle.

With a four stroke that has a new cam you should keep the rpms about 2grand for good lube. But if the motor is warmed all the way up(crank included) then you can upen it up just dont keep it wide open for a long time(like 15 secs) But like i said before if it is warm you can open it all the way up. I would say on both motors a good half hour of doing this will get it broke in to where you can start to leave it open longer and at higher rpms.

NEWDUCK you are replying me as if I asked about a rebuilt engine.

No, I mean a brand new quad with every thing stock.

From my experience Ive just stopped worring about breakin and just ride it. Change your oil after the first hour to get all the debris the factory left in when they built it
