2003 gizz fan not coming on
well took it to the dealer to have the heat fighter kit put on. it was overheating before i took it in. got it back and noticed it still was overheating and the fan will not come on. i checked to see if there was air in the cooling system. none. i thought i remember there being something posted about a faulty fan relay. anyone know were i should start. i dont want to take it back to the dealer. they suck and i cant stand them.

Check to make sure the fan itself will work. Disconnect the connector at the fan, and use a couple of wires to jump it, from the battery, or even a battery charger. You just want to see if its the fan motor, or something else. Positive 12 volts on the blue wire, and 12 minus on the black wire.
If it works, then it could be the circuit breaker bad.
let us know what you find

Still not working?
Theres another way around this. You can wire in a switch, and just manually operate the fan whenever you want, AND it will still work automaticly, in case you forget to turn it on when needed.
Heres a diagram of one way.

Another way would be to just splice in a plus 12 volts, thru a switch, with out a relay. Note, theres a circuit breaker, and a thermo switch, before the fan. Any of those three could be bad, or the wiring could be disconnected or loose.
Your best bet is to narrow down the posiblities. You could jumper over each of the cb and thermo switch, and if the fan works, then its the cb or the thermo. The switch is the one thats on the radiator. The cb is back by the battery. Its the red/black wire, for the circuit.
