gyea true, but still, im still wondering if the 700r is so great as everyone says it is (about how much better it is than the YFZ450), than y is the yfz450 still the same price as the 700R is? what do u think is better?

LOL, the Raptor 660 is faster than the yfz450.... And the new Raptor700 is faster than the old 660...
The yfz is an MX bike... The engine just does not have the same potential as the bigger bore 700...
There is no replacement for displacement......

Omg ok so theres no replacement for weight displacement right? but my god my ttr125 beats polaris 500 magnums in drags, I say there nop replacement for weight distribution, which is why the yfz450 is faster then the 660r, and i gotta admit though its gonna lose to the 700r..

Thanks for high-jacking my thread.
If you want to know if the 450 or 700 would win in a drag race, get together and race. Not that it matters. What matters to me is how the 700 handles, as I would be using it for fast trail riding and the occasional friendly competition. If I wanted to race moto-cross, I'd get the YFZ450, but I don't race moto-cross.
Usually the guys that want to drag race are the posers that own a moto-cross quad, but can't ride, lol.

I rode a 2005 raptor on a dirt track couple months ago and I hated it. This was befor the news of the new raptor. It was top heavy as can be. I also rode a predator and there was no comparison. The predator was great on the track compared to the 05. Im eager to take the 700r out to the same trak and see how it handles. Ill let you know. But from what Ive seen around my house the 700r. is a much different bike when it comes to handling vs. the 660.

It handles great on the trail, or anywhere. I haven't rode in sand yet though. But it is best on the trail, probably the best i've ever ridden.
