its a hate/love thing. I put my 12 tooth on ONLY when going into tight/technicle trails, when your often in 1-3ed gear. it lowers top speed considerably, makes each gear shorter, and really lowers 1st gear. with the 12 tooth if you set your idle a little high, you can let off the clutch in 1st and the bike will go up hills with out touching the throttle!!! makes the bike even more wheelie happy also. Great for trails, bad for Sand pits/Wide open trails. good luck!

I love it i have a 350 Rap and it made a great diff when climbing hills but as 86lt250R said it shortens ur gears with my 6 speed i go through the gears 2 times faster than with the 13 which isnt so fun but when your in tight trails you willl have to shift less you allwasy seem to be in the rite gear.

Will it get rid of the situations where your going a decent speed in say 3rd and then u accelrate up a hill and it starts bogging out, causing you to have to down shift.

OH YEA it will deff put some juice in it you will be suprised at what it will do it will kill a lil top end say 3-5 miles an hour on top but geez yuo will still hit 70 plenty fast i never worry about top end to much its much nicer being able to shoot past people on the hills thanx to the extra bottom end and mid range juice let me know what you think once you get it on and ride.---------Jeremy

i agree its a love/hate item. and it depends on where you ride, and it pretty much makes 1st gear useless(atleast for me) allows you to launch in 2nd gear when racing.
