Water in the clutch cover
Was it just water...or did your lady friend fill it with mud/dirt/silt/water...If so then take the cover off and see how much debris was collected inside the case. If there is a lot of crap inside than you will probably have to regrease the bearings inside the primary and clean the v-belt and tensioners.

An easy way to check how much debris she got in the case is to take off the drain/check plug on the front air vent. If that is full of dirt then yes...you do have some work to do this weekend...
Also, check the top speed/acceleration of the machine now that everything is dry. If there is dirt in the bearings your machine will feel slugish and the top speed will be drastically reduced.
