Blaster Problem..
ok i have 2 blasters and they both have problems,
On one of them The Woodruff Key that holds the magneto in place, snaps after being started for about 10 seconds
On the other one, It will start up for like a few minutes then just shutoff, I took apart the carb and cleand it, and it has new reeds.

Blaster Problem..
First of all, If u were a proffesional i dont thinkyou would need help from here.
Second, the woodruff key snapping, what kind of key do u keep snapping, i should use a key from yamaha, dont just go buy one, not the same grade, OR, did you check the slot in both the crank and the flywheel, are they marred at all, that can do it,OR did you file out the slot in the crank cause the key was too tight of fit and hard to get in there?, that could do it too.
Third, The blaster that starts up for a short while then stalls, this could be a few things, first thing that comes to my mind is, the fuel tank vent line could be kinked or clogged , second thing that comes to mind would be, your petcock fuel filter is clogged, or your petcock is clogged, or it could be that you have water in your gas (unlikely) Maybe when u cleaned your carb u didnt spray carb cleaner or comressed air through all the fuel circuits and your pilot circuit is clogged.
Good luck!
