Do you guys think it would be bad to drill holes through the top flap of the filter through the airbox toward the gast tank?It would not interfere with the gasket or the the intake holes or the gas tank.I wanna clamp this drop in in there some how so i can run with the lid off.

 

Are you talking about the air box lid or snorkle? As long as you are not drilling holes between the air filter and the carb it should be OK

 

It will not interfere with the carbeurator intake tubes at all.Just the airbox sidewall.I would run it with the lid off once i clamp it on there like that.

 

I think he might be talking about the snorkel because that is sorta under the gas tank. And I don't know I think I'm gunna take of the airbox lid and run outterwears.
