Ok, you have piqued my interest. What kind of car do you have less than 6k in, that gets 30mpg and beats Mustang GT's? Would these be the 225hp 5.0 mustangs, or the newer 4.6 litre mustangs with the 4valve heads. What kind of mods have you done to this car of yours?

 

ok im not saying any mustang is comparable to a crx as i know they are way better, but in stock form a mustang isnt what i would consider a respectable drag car compared to a stock vette or camaro. and i know its like comparing apples and oranges but im not sure why i worded evrything wrong and gave out wrong ideas. i would take a stang over any little rice burner. but i would take a vette or a camaro over a mustang. just my opnions

 

how can say camaros and corvettes are in the same class but not a mustang? camaros come in v6's too if you didnt know. i think the stang and camaro are in a different class if they are stock. the corvette puts out 400 hp. the mustang gt is putting out 300 and i think there are two v8s for the camaro, im not sure. i think there is an SS and another v8 model, but dont quote me on that. the vette hits 0-60 in 4.3 sec. idont think the camaro or stang can do that

 

New Vette Ls7 is rated a 500hp, SS,and Z28 Are the top model v8's. A Stang is a good drag car, but i think an ls1 is better. A stv is rated at 390 supercharged, an ls1 is rated at 325. NOW what if the ls1 had a supercharger? Also the 5.7L has more potential than the 4.6 just an opinion.

 

i like both foreign and domestic...... but i must hit you with a fact! The most horsepower per cubic inch is in a s2000which is a Honda. Now i know there not the fastest car around by no means but 240 hp out of a 2.0 litre moter isnt shabby! If you have ever drove....there a lot of fun, they start making power around 8500 rpm! Thats what makes the world go around.....you can make anything fast, I sold my drag banshee to build a raptor.....both are fast but the raptor mod for mod, takes ALOT more money to get fast!

 

That video was full of idiots------the guy dragging a Banshee on asphalt with no helmet, the 'yo yo dude' guys that did the intro and of course the ricer in his POS Civic. yeah i guess i do have to hand it to the foreign car companys they know how to get some good power out of those smaller engines that last forever but when it comes to big bores i dont think they can touch chevys and fords

 

my dads 1986 civic with a 1.8 litre eats 5.0 mustangs these freekin imports can haul *** if you know how to mod them...I drove a s-2000 honda with 500 horse and a honda accord with 600 horse and is still street leagual the old cars (mustangs,corvettes,camaro's..ect...) are nothing compared to these imports sorry to say but we still got the 56' belair with a 327 in her [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
