Default banshee problem

I just built my banshee from the ground up and I have a problem. One cylinder smokes more than the other, especially under full throttle, its like a mosquito fogger. It even started seeping smoke from the exhaust flange.Anyone know what it could be?

Sounds like maybe your carbs are out of sink.
I don't have the smoke problem but I can feel a definate difference in the exhaust on my shee.
I've been told that I have to take the bike to a mech. to have this problem fixed.

Make sure the slides are in the correct side with the cutout facing to the rear.

Also if you redid the whole motor with doing the bottom end and the right side is the heavy smoking side, then you might be sucking tranny oil and burning it through the RH crankcase.

Not to get off the subject but I have a real quick question for Bubba927.
I noticed that you have a Z-250 in your fleet.
I haven't looked at these bikes very closely and I was thinking of getting one for my daughter.
I heard that they had a "auto-clutch" system.
Could you please elaborate in more detail as to how the shifting system operates?

Hey I found out it IS the crank seal and it is pretty common.I found a guy here in sw La that would do the entire job for 100 bucks, including parts and labor. He's reputable and it's a job I aint looking forward to ,for sure!

Yes the crankseals will cause this.If one didn't seal right it will let air in and out causing mixture and crankcase pressure problems.I've seen quite a few of these in customer bikes that have set up or people that tried to reuse old seals.
