For one, they not only took your quad but they took you sense of security. If they are that bold to pull that off, whats going to stop them from maybe robbing your house while your gone. You'll never feel safe.
Another is, if I were to replace it would they steal that one too?
What about the work and hours upon hours of research that you put into it take make it your special bad *** quad?
I went through ALL of these thoughts and emotions. The plus side to my Raptor getting stolen is it was insured but before I bought it I had an 04 400EX with lots of goodies on it and NO insurance. Imagine paying off a quad that you no longer have......................They would have to lock me up cause I would beat the snot out of every dirt bag I see............

it especially sucks when it's friggin a$$wipes that dont have jobs and have smoked weed and crack all their life and are too lazy to work for their own money, and they go and steal your 7000 dollar machine and actually get away with it. Thats when i wish it was legal to go out and find them and tie them to a tree and beat them bloody with bamboo sticks. I've read many posts on this forum from people getting their rides stolen, and I just feel crappy when i read it.

pops says the quads covered for as much as he paid cash for it...so im not really worried of any theft if it ever did happen...apparently theres been some going on around here though

ZimRaptor, obviously you have never had anything of value stolen from you. There is a tremendous sense of violation when this happens, compounded by the fact that you don't even know who exactly to be angry with usually. In my case, my families' only vehicle was stolen. I lost time at work, I lost some personal irreplaceable possesions, and my insurance premiums went up. I eventually got my car back, but it was trashed and had been in at least one accident. Some fine upstanding citizen had used the drivers side arm rest as an ashtray. They even stole my son's car seat! Financially, you almost always lose out when it comes to theft.

I'll bet pops would be upset if it were stolen. Guess the question should be, if you didn't pay for it and it got stolen.

First, congrats on pops buying the tools you use too. Second, KMA. If I had a nickel for every snot nosed kid who didn't appreciate the hard work that their parents did to give them their stuff, I could have a dozen just like you. Now that the formalities are out of the way, back to the point. You asked why someone gets upset when their stuff gets stolen. If you had to work, be it a job, around the house for the parents, whatever type job to get something, you'll know it's true worth. I don't care if it's a 10 dollar CD, you'll know exactly what you're going to have to do to replace it. My Father passed away last May after a long bout with cancer. If I were you, I'd walk up to yours and thank him for everything he's given you.
