Checking on insurance for the raptor. Progresseve quote was almost $1000. Would be $600 if I had a motorcycle liscence.

We have a Raptor, Banshee, and a warrior.

For those of you with insurance, who do you use and about how much is it?

jcdraptor, call them back and find out how much for insurance if you insure a moped too so you get the 4 vehicle discount. It should cut that to about 1/2. I only have 3 quads so I also insure a moped frame. I keep it hanging on a hook in the garage and didn't pay a dime for it. I also have maximum coverage for everything but collision so my umbrella policy is in effect in addition to this. For me, I am willing to forego collision insurance since in the event this would happen I would be willing to replace the ATV out of pocket or would get out of riding altogether.

I learned the hard way that you should carry insurance.

 

I got state farm and pay $358 a year with full coverage.

I bounced one down the mountain a couple of years back... payed off for me... I wouldnt ride without insurance...

 

I have a 5 year prepaid theft insurance through my old local yamaha dealer, it cost like $600 at time of purchase... Hope I never need to use it though.

 

I'm paying in the 300 range also for full coverage. Good deal if you ask me since they can be spendy to be fixin' them if somthing major happens!

 

I think the only company that will insure ATV's is progressive

 

I am also curious about insuring my ATV. What does the insurance cover?

-Rider? (in case of accident)
-theft?
-trailering?
