Default What Should I Get?

Okay, I'm alittle confused, why get valve springs and not a valve. I don't know much about engines but the valves allow air in (intake valve) and out(exhaust valves) right? So what purpose would the springs do without better valves, not questioning your word but more of the mechanics involved. Did you notice a big difference in the performance after adding those mods? About how much did it run you? Thanks.

well with stiffer vlave springs its harder to float your valves. plus i think it keeps them open a hair longer too. but im not sure

I know floating the valves is when the valves don't open and close fast enough to keep up with the cam, right? So when you get stiffer valve springs do you put the springs on the stock valves? If so how do you do this, I'd guess you had to take the head off?
