Default Lightened Flywhee?

I am thinking about lightening my flywheel, my motor is completely stock. What are the pros/cons of having a lightened flywheel? And i do race, MX and flat track.

Good: Revs faster and frees up a little power.
Bad: Stalls easier at idle, really need an aggressive cam and porting to take advantage of it.

Power comes on quick because it's lighter, but also dosn't hold it's rev's as long.

That is correct..... I run a (PVL) ignition, it has no flywheel... It rev's like a Indy race car

I put a lightened flywheel on my older Banshee and had nothing but problems. It ran like a rapped ape but blew the top end twice in a month. I do not know if it was because of the flywheel ( shop said flywheel advanced ignition??dunno) but I put every part from the motor on my new Banshee except the flywheel and have had zero problems. It did run fast though, I liked the power for the 3 tanks I got out of it.

I can't see much benefit in lightening a warrior flywheel. This is not a high performance motor to begin with, and there's not much you can do to it to make it one IMHO.
