I do not have room in the garage to store the Kodiak and wanted to if there is special precautions to take if I have to store it outside this winter. I will not be riding it until this spring probably, it gets -40 to -50 here in Fairbanks, Ak, any suggestions? I will probably get heated storage but wanted to know what you experienced riders thought.

If your not riding it all winter one thing you might do is keep the gas tank topped off so condensation can't build up inside. I store my machine in the cold also but I ride all year long

Howdy neighbour...I live east of you in the Yukon...what I do is squirt alittle oil down the cylinder and top the gas tank up and add Stabilizer to it...remove the batterie and put it in a warm place...turn off the gas and drain the carb float bowl...then jack it up off the ground ..blocking it so the wheels aren't touching...wrap it up in a tarp and leave it for the winter...
