So i just built my 1st "Sleeper" Raptor. It should be a drag machine! So my question is what fuel should i use in a built 686 12:1 ratio? Also has stage 1 hotcam =/. I figured i would have to use racing fuel but some others told me a mixture of race fuel and premium will work fine. Please comment!

The Raptor chassis im using is a 2001 i picked up back in 02 or 03. I seized the motor in it and it basically seperated the case. Its the same raptor in my galleries just with a few years of sitting in the elements on it (rust and such). I got a good deal on a Never Ran 686 with the Stage 1 hotcam and put it all back together last night. I took pictures every step of the way. I also need to buy an exhaust and CDI for it. The CDI im looking at is a Dyna Fs or a Vortex x10. I also was looking at the Sparks Exhaust, i know those were good back when i was popular here. lol Well im taking opinons so let me have it!

So no need for racing fuel? Also my pictures have been approved. i didnt get all of them on there tho =/

Anything over 94 octane typically is racing fuel. Some is availible at the pump, others you have to buy by the can.
