Default Raptor rear brakes

I'm trying to change the rear breaks but I cant get the 2 pads to fit right. I need to adjust it so everything fits on the brake rotor and I can see the piece (cicular object) that needs to go back but I can't seem to get it to go back. Anybody shed some light on this?

I'm having the same problem..sort of, I used a c-clamp to move the cylider back and have everything on the caliper but it won't fit back over the rotor, I have the manual from Yamaha but it is pretty vague and just tells you to remove the screws, put on the new pads and then replace it. This is the first time I have tried to change the brakes and it isn't going too well.

Did you do anything with the parking brake assembly? You have to back that adjustment out, or it'll keep you from pushing the piston in all the way.

Crack the bleeder and relieve some pressure. It will allow you to depress the piston. You WILL have to bleed the brakes after the re-install.
