Default Raptor radiator fan

My quad has been overheating alot and I just found out that my radiator fan hasn't been coming on. I'm trying to check the connections but they look alright to me. Has anyone ever experienced problems with this before?

Yea bud, i had a problem like that with my z400.It is a fuse near the sensor. There should be a spare one in a hatch right next to the actual place where the fuse connects.I can almost guarrentee that is what the preoblem is.

I've never had a problem with the fan, can't help you out there.

It's probably the sensor in the radiator. They only last a couple years. I had to replace mine. Its located in the lower tank to the left of the hose. Un plug the cable, stick a paper clip or something in the plug to short the two wires together. Make sure the key is on. If your fan comes on when you short these two, then you need to replace the sensor. If not, then there is a bad wire or blown fuse. You will have to trace the wires. Sometimes, a wire will break in the connector bundles where the front and rear plastic meet.

Also, try putting power directly to the fan plug top make sure the fan works.

Most likely, its the sensor...an easy fix.
