Im 19 and this kid that I knew from highschool he is like 16 or 17. Well his parents just bought him a brand new yfz450. The bike is stock and he is telling everyone how fast it is, and that nobody in the area can beat it. Then to fuel his ego even more there is a 420 trinity banshee around here that he raced and some how he won. But the fact that the banshee is a busted piece with many problems could be why, it for some reason won't even go into it's powerband. Well now he is telling everyone how slow my raptor is and how bad he is going to beat me. I get my motor back in the middle of the week, and im not going to waste any time putting it back in. I know where he lives and he told me to stop by when I get my "slow" raptor running again, and he would show me just how fast his yfz is. Bone stock yfz450 vs. high compression 686 raptor. I can not wait to see the look on his face, because I have a funny feeling that I might beat him by more than bike length or two. and hopefully I will have a plus 4 swing arm by then. I hate it when parents buy their kid a nice bike and then the kid talks smack on every one elses bike. I bought my bike, and I paid for all of the mods, so it should be just that much more satisfying when I beat him, and I am really going to rub it in.

I hear ya there bro... Theres a kid at my school who says he can beat my 686 rappy with his Race ready blaster .... Some people just dont have race experience and get cocky after 1 race. In my case the kid wanting to race me beat a stock warrior and he swears a warrior will beat a raptor easy... lol. sure hope hes talkin about the raptor 350 for his egos sake.

Show em what the 686 will do and let us know!

Ahh it gets better, I just found out today that he is also a crappy driver, and even dumber than I thought. A friend of mine told him that he was going to get tossed when we race, and he said that he was going to tear me a knew one, because his bike has so much power that he can't launch it at full throttel, without uncontrollably wheeling. He dumps the clutch in first hmmm I wonder why it won't stay down off the line. Then my friend told him what I have on my bike and when he said that I have a 686 the kid said "BS all raptors are 660s, there is no such thing as a 686 in a raptor" Im gettin antsy I can't wait to race this idiot.

Beat that kids <edit>. I can't stand people talking crap like that (whether it be quads/bikes/cars/whatever) especially since this kid's parents bought it for him and from what it sounds like is very uninformed when it comes to quads. I bet the kid can't even change his own oil or throw on a new chain. Let us know how it goes.

I wouldn't be suprised if someone on a warrior (like me) would be able to take him on a track since he probably has no clue how to ride.
