raptor runs perfect except for when the reverse light starts flashing. At that time the bike shuts down until it gets to a low rpm . I am pretty sure the computer box or whatever it is thinks the 4-wheeler is in reverse and will not let it rev. WHY is the light flashing? How can i fix this? How can I disconnect the rev. rev limiter?? Please help. Thank you!

 

Sounds like the reverse rev limiter to me, don't know how you fix it. Do a search, you might find some help there.

 

If the idle speed is too high, the reverse light will flash after 15 (30?) seconds. It also probably kicks in the reverse rev limiter. Try slowing down the idle speed.

 

its a bad connection at the reverse switch...that wire down there behind your shifter...pull it off the sender...clean it...put it back and your problem should be solved
