Default getting bike ready for racing

i might be doing some racing in the near future and i would like to get some tips on prepping my bike for it. i have been doing hard laps around my little track i built in some forested land on our property and have been doing basic endurance exercises like mile jogs and stuff and then crunches and pushups and stuff but what should i do to my bike to make it ready, my clutch cable has been giving me fits and i think lubing it will fix that i just ordered a cable luber and i think i am going to torqe down all the mountint bolts to specs like the a arms and all that. any other tips

Just about all race organizers require nerf bars and a tethered kill switch.

o yeah i forgot to add that ive got tusk nerf bars and im still waiting on a tehtered kill swith but i will have those when i race thanks
