i razar or hole shot-hd

Holeshot HDs are very heavy. My son had a set on his YFZ 450, and I remember two things about those tires ...
1. He used to beat my DS650 in drag races when he had the stock tires on, but the day he switched to Holeshot HDs I started beating him consistently. The HDs were so heavy that they robbed enough power from his YFZ that his drag race winning days were over.
2. On my very first ride on his YFZ with the HDs on it I hit a rock on the first straightaway I came to, and tore a 3 inch long gash in the sidewall of one of his rear tires. So much for the "HD" part, just goes to show that no tire is totally indestructable. Although we did replace that rear tire, and he then went an entire desert racing season without another flat. The tires do seem to last forever though, so you wont need to worry about wearing them out anytime soon.
iRazr's are not heavy tires at all, they work well, and are as durable as most.

I have heard of a few people not liking the i-razr because of tread wear issues. I'd go with the razr 2
There are a few reviews here. Just use find in this page under the edit menu and type in razr.

I had standard holeshots a while back and they were good. Lasted 1yr and has about 40-50% left so I gave them to my dad for his LT. those are light and hook-up good. 10in wheels look nice, but can get hit pretty easy and they ARE NOT cheap.

My experience nowadays is solely desert and I know you don't see any of that in Alabama, but punture resistance is huge for me and the XCR's have been great. I don't know if you're racing or trail riding but for all around XCR's are nice and I would'nt go to a ten inch rear wheel for multi-purpose use as it's not as practical.
