I have 1700 miles on myy SP no troubles yet they re both good atvs , my choice would be who had the best dealer service? which one can you get a better price on? Seriously you will get 5000 opinions in here, bottom line both great powerful 4x4 atv's capable of anything you want to do, with them.

Gee, what are we doing over here in Yamahaland? Just bored I guess. I think the Grzz
is a like a tractor. If you want to haul logs all day long, except for an occasional break to bump start your deuce and a half- get a Grizz.
If you want the best riding, best handling,
most fun, kick-***, ride it all day long, go as fast as you dare, power slide till Tuesday, out-mud, out work anything (except for a grizz), then go for the new H.O.
I went on a 72 mile ride last Saturday ripping through mountain trails, sand washes and mining roads, caught some pretty good air maybe 50 times, climbed some nasty little rock headwalls, hit 65mph on the county roads, used less than a tank of gas, had more fun than I can remember and was only a little sore the next day, so I went riding again, this time only about 20 miles, found MUD! Very rare in New Mexico!
Ride them all!! Then buy an H.O.

I guess you could call it toss up. They both have strong points and weak points. Go out and ride them both, and then you decide. You can't loose either way.
I ride a Grizzly. Lots of power, lots of fun. You can hammer time it all day long, and it just wants more! I've owned it for almost 4 months now and have almost 500 miles on it. Haven't had even a hint of a problem with it! Well thats not entirely true, I did get a flat tire once. What a bummer, had to go out and buy four new and better ones!

Either one is a good choice. The Grizz has less to go wrong with it mechanically in the rear end (less joints in the driveline - the price you pay for the smoother ride) but the SP is water cooled. The Grizz motors don't give any trouble as long as they are moving around, and can pull a good load as long as you keep it moving. Spend a couple hours in a dead still canyon on a hot day with the engine idling spraying weeds, though, and you got trouble. If you don't spray weeds off your ATV, you should be fine, if you do, don't get anything that isn't liquid cooled.
