Default 2001 yamaha warrior 350 PROBLEM!!!

hey guys, my buddy has a serious problem with his 2001 yamaha warrior. he just purchased it used & we went out for a ride today. not realizing this was a 4-stroke machine, he accidentally used another buddies 2-stroke gas/oil mixture. the atv started running quite sluggish after about 10 minutes, then we realized what he had done. what can he do to restore his machine's performance or is the engine shot?

thanks guys.

Just drain all the premix out and put in fresh gas. I would make sure to drain the floatbowl also. Put a new plug in for good measure and you should be all set. There is no cat on these, so about the worst that should happen is he fouled a plug and gave his cylinder a little extra lube for a few minutes. Oh yeah, you might want to send him to an Offroad 101 course or something
