I was just wondering if it is ok to use transmission fluid in the bottom end of a 2 stroke.

 

I have heard of quite a few that run typeF trans. fluid in their banshees.I run tractor hyd. oil in my banshee trans. and have not had one bit of trouble.I tried motor oil but it seems to shift alot better with the hyd. oil.Tractors run a wet clutch system also.The hyd.oil is cheap enough that I change it about third ride.

I run Klotz flexdrive 30 in the transmission on my Banshee...

 

I use Bel Ray Gear Saver 80wt in the tranny of all my 2 strokes.

 

I run Motul tranny oil in my R. Fluids are one area you don't want to go cheap on. Spend the money for the best and your bike will last longer.

 

i either run castrol type f or klotz flex drive 30
