DEAR hotfmfblaster,
I HAVE YET TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY RAPTOR. I'VE GONE THROUGH MORE THAN 5 TANKS OF FUEL ALONG WITH PUTTING IT TO THE TEST. ACTUALLY, I THINK MY RAPTOR LIKES TO BE ABUSED. IT SIMPLY ASKS FOR MORE. I USED TO OWN A BLASTER, THAT WAS A BOYS TOY. IF YOU WANT A MANS TOY- GET A RAPTOR.

I am sorry that I put this in a yamaha forum. I forgot that you all are raptor lovers and four stroke lovers.01Grizzly, as far as the 250r being small potatos, where are you from? Nothing can touch a 250r around the track. Not even the big thumper(raptor). There is a reson the pros continue to race them and not a 400ex or a ds650 or a raptor. Also I never reveiwed the 250r and 400ex. I don't know where you herd that from, but it wasn't me. I might of replied to somthing like that because I read everythin about them.Everyone, I know the blaster is just a toy, but with how the markets going the only thing I would trade it for would be a 250r or a super modified 400ex.

hotfmfblaster,
You might as well stop while you are ahead. The hypocrits will continue to be angered by you for pointing out the problems of their machines. In response, they will bash what you ride. The Raptor has problems, just like any other machine. However, judging from some of the posts, its a better quad than its owners are people.

A lot of the Raptor guys remind me of the 10-year old newbie Blaster/300EX owners that post here. They feel that their machines can do no wrong.

I went riding with a buddy yesterday, who owns a 400EX, and before he rode my Raptor, he was planning on dumping a bunch of cash into it, with such mods as a 425kit, Complete Big Gun system, Rejet and filter, and new tires. Well, one quick ride on my Raptor changed his tune completely. He is now torn as to what to do, and I dare say, if I let him ride it one more time, the decision will be final.

HotFMFBlaster..........Not everyone here is interested in half cocked, in-accurate, reviews with mispelled words, and terrible grammer, clearly showing your intelligence. I originally purchased my Raptor, purely for the reverse, but now, after getting on my bud's 400EX, I realized, I'm addicted to the RAW POWER this thing puts out.

AND, as to your 250R unstoppable blah blah blah. Well, come to Jamestown, and stack it next to my bud's Zilla OR my Raptor, and we'll teach you a thing or two about respect. The 250R is an Awesome quad, with a huge following, but it is basically from my understanding, a "race" quad. Not an all purpose machine. The Raptor is an all purpose machine, that you don't have to get off of to turn it around on a tight trail, and while the A-Arms may be light, and the Swing Arm might be a little weak, well, you show me ONE pro rider on a STOCK 250R, and then you can talk CRAP about the Raptor. The reality is NO ONE RACES STOCK QUADS, BIKES, CARS, BOATS, PLANES, OR BICYCLES FOR THAT MATTER!!!!!

Grow UP or GET out

If I lived in NY I would come and show you how it's done. All I ride is mx so you bring your raptor and your lt here and let's race.

Just to add I weigh 240lbs. and I have taken over 50 4th gear jumps and have had no probs. Also the suspension is superb in jumps. Best I have ridden.

But you can't powerslide? Let me get this straight in my head. You can do Huevos Grande style 4th gear jumps at 50 miles per hour, but you can't power slide on your Raptor.
Don't get me wrong, I think Blasterboy is annoying also, but I find it hard to believe you can't corner on a sport quad with that much power and you can jump like that, keep dreamin.

the reason its so hard to powerslid on a raptor isn't beacause of the suspension. its because of the tires. they have way to much side bite so its hard to slide it.
