You know, I've run lots of muscle cars and street bikes over the years and all responded differently to "hop-ups" of various kinds.

But holy smokes! I just added a full Big Gun EVO pipe to my raptor and rejetted. For kicks I pulled the airbox lid to boot. I've read all the testimonials here that the Raptor responds well to "opening" things up a bit, but I had no idea how much you'd be able to FEEL it.

I'm going to ditch the airbox completely and go with K&N or UNI this weekend.

Now, I've got a very minor off-idle bog. I suspect I'll need to go back and either play with the mixture or go up on the pilots. (I changed only the mains after piping).

Did I say holy smokes? Best adrenaline rush I've had since my Buell S1 Lightning sold.

Ozark, Is the 700r Alot different than a 660????

 

Its all different. Nothing is interchangable but the rims.....not even the tires are the same.

Yep it is quite amazing, I have a hill in a local gravel pit that I would just barely poke over the top in 2nd after the exhaust and air intake I was getting air time going over the same hill.
