Hey Bearclaw...

Do a search on "warn" and "424" , select "Title" only and check the "Yamaha" forum category...seriously, there is a ton of info on this search, I just tried it.

Myself and several others have beaten this subject to death.

The Warn 424 has proven to be just about bullet proof. There are probably 100+ of us on here that are using one. It does just what you are wanting...disconnects the front drive shaft from driving the front diff. The Warn 424 takes the place of the front drive shaft and via a cable, disconnects the forward part of the "shaft" that drives the diff.

It is well worth the money and has actually dropped at least $50 since it started becoming popular.

I would highly recommend it, along with just about everyone else that has one installed. I rarely put my Wolv in 4x4 anymore.

I contacted the company and they told me that they don.t make one for anything below 2000, mine is a 1999. Now I need to know if a drive shaft for a 2000 will fit. Thanks for the reply.
