2WD/4WD

Default 2WD/

huy guys its 12:25 right now and i got bord. i went checking out atv products and found on highlifter.com a Detroit Gearless Locker & UN-Locker <u>package</u> for $545, and the un-locker for $289. what does the package include that the un-locker doesnt. and besides the package what else if different? like why is one a <u>detroit gearless locker</u> and un-locker and the other one is just a un-locker. any help? please

The gearless lockier is a "locking" front differential which locks both front drive wheels, the un-locker enables you to switch the atv from 4-wd to 2-wd.

oh so with the Detroit Gearless Locker & UN-Locker package you could go inbetween 2&4 wheel drive with true 4 wheel drive and with the un-locker you just go between 2&4 wheel drive with the kind of 4 wheel drive your quad comes with. please correct me if im wrong on that statement and thanks so much for your quik reply.

Default 2WD/4WD

With just the unlocker you can switch between 2wd and 4wd (actually 3wd on a stock rancher) but with the locker installed all 4 tires are going to pull but steering isn't to bad because the gearless locker will allow some inside wheel slip but will not stop turning. So when you have both installed its either 2wd or full time 4wd when the unlocker is engaged.
