Default shuttin off

I was just wondering, how do you shut off a dirtbike that only has a kickstart option? with electric starter, you can just turn the ignition off. does a dirtbike even use a key?

My two YZ's and every other dirt bike I have owed has had a little red button on the handle bars that will make it stop running when it's pushed.
