I have a Blaster that need a little help on the low end, it is a great little machine that has a lot of power in the power band but if you are going up a long hill and need to upshift it gets out of the powerband and falls flat on it face. I know this is kind of the nature of a 2-stroke but is there a pipe that will help my low and mid-range but won't kill the top end too bad. I have a DG silencer on it, is this a good low end pipe or should I change it too? I ride in tight kind of rough trails with my brothers new Kodiak 450 and I can already tell I am going to have fun keeping up with his IRS. The main reason I need it other than going up long hill is on hill climbs where you need the speed of 2nd but have to keep it in the powerband just to keep going and first is just about too slow. Are there any other parts (less than $300) that could help the power?
Thanks for the help.

Hey, if you have the stock head pipe (expansion chamber) on it still, dump that and get pretty much any aftermarket pipe. A good ol FMF will greatly increase your power and you will not notice any loss on bottom end. Pipe really wakes up a Blaster. They are jetted kind of rich from the factory so you may not have to rejet but watch your plug to be sure.

For the exhaust, definetly get an FMF. If your looking for more power for your blaster other than exhaust, check out this site Vito's Performance Products they specialize in Blaster and Banshee performance.
