Default Rear sprocket combo.

Alright If I want to increase acceleration I have to increase the number of teeth on my rear sprocket correct? A 3 tooth increase is equivilant to 1 tooth up front. If I'm not wrong then a Raptor's stock rear is 40 teeth. I have a 12 tooth up front and if I wanted to go to a 43 tooth rear would I have to change the change? Or just have to adjust it?

MIke.

2 teeth change in the rear is equal to one in the front, and you might have to change your chain... depends on how loose it is.

1 tooth drop in front equals 2.75 on rear

When is the cut off for the stock chain with a 12T sprocket up front? How many teeth can I go up in the rear without changing is what I'm asking.

13/40 = 12/42.75 You should be able to go up to 42T rear with a 12T front with a stock chain, of course depending on how stretched the chain is, but on the other hand, you should change the chain with the new sprockets anyway.
