ok i have a chance to get some really nice custom axis shocks but the thing is there 16 inches long hole to hole. The bottom mount opening is 1 1/4 inch wide will this work on the raptor rear if so is it going to raise it at all? and axis fronts that are 16 1/4 inches long hole to hole. will this raise it ? i think its 15 and 1/2 is the stock fronts on the rappy i could use any info thanks for the help

 

Stock is 15 1/2 give or take a 1/4. LT setups are typically a little longer at 18 or 19 inches so you're kind of in between. While they arent going to be the best for geometry, they are probably excellent shocks. I think if you get them revalved for your bike (and get rid of some preload) then they'll work fine.

 

well the one i really want is the rear the fronts i dont think i want so would the rear be ok how it is it was off a banshee

 

Hmm, not sure about the rear never tried a shock swap with it. Maybe if you pick up Elka's long travel linkage it will work better.

 

Maybe you should ask these folks? I don't think it will work, plus was that shock set-up for you originally for weight, riding style?
