TORS Promblem?
#1
I don't get no spark except when I disconnect the switch under the upper left frame. I get spark but won't start. I then disconnected the 2 carb switches and nothing. Should it start with this stuff disconnected? If I get the removal kit will this fix it? Seems like it should start though since it gets spark. Please Help!

It should start,Those tors usually dont last for long and need to be disconnected.I would HIGHLY recommend a 28MM carb kit.It was the best thing I did for mine.Even with the eliminator kit I still had problems with the carbs sticking alot.Either leave them on or get new carbs. If your bike has spark with the tors disconnected check air and fuel and you should be good.

I'm getting spark when I disconnect the main switch but whenever I reconnect it no spark. But still no fire. What could it be? Need some serious help please. Maybe it is too weak of a spark then what could that be?

Rule of thumb has always been the big three, spark, fuel and air.If your getting a spark you need fuel or air.Are you getting fuel? You got me stumped on this one.Try spraying a little starting fluid or carb cleaner in each cylinder, install the plugs and kick it over.If it fires and stalls it sounds like a fuel or air issue.Let me know.

Yeah it is getting fuel. I am lost. It should start with the TORS disconnected then if I am getting spark then from what I have read. I'll try the starting fluid but I know that ain't it. Thank you and let me know if you think of anything.

O.K. kool. Sprayed some carb cleaner and kicked it over and to my suprise, 1st kick it fired and died. Did it a few times and it fired 1st kick every time. Looks like i'm tearing apart the carb and cleaning no? Glad to see it fire though. What ya think?
