yes i do have a 01 raptor. i just got in touch with a kid that has a new trans for me. now i can put my quad back together. i just hope it dosnt crap out on me again. dose any one have a good used piston they would want to sell??

To go through all that trouble getting the trans back together and doing the entire assembly BS, how could you even think of putting a used piston back in? You are fixing a problem and creating another. You are using 02 gears in that 01 Raptor...right?

i got a banshee motor in raptor frame but did have to make new motor mounts

 

With enough time and effort anything is possible.

This guy put a 120hp snowmobile XC700 two stroke twin in his 500 Scrambler.

 

only thing with mine the pipes had to cut and reweld so it sticks out like drag pipes
