Ive been looking for a new quad to buy and i was thinking of getting a new Blaster. Is it true that blasters break down after a few months?

No this is not true.Tee blaster is extremely relable, if you do the required maintenence. Depending on where you ride your maintenence will be different. If you ride in the sand you will need to clean your air filters every 4-6 rides. You will need to change the oil every 6-10 rides . The final most important thing is that you need to remember to add a good synthetic pre mix.I would recommend either Klotz or maxima. Depending on your size and weight the blaster will probably be a good starting point.

Who ever told you that must not know what they are talking about. As long as you keep up on maintenence as Dunatic said you should be fine.

$1000. to get a motor redone. You got ripped off really bad. It cost me $180 in parts and getting it bored and i did all the labor. But $1000 is just rediculous you can get a full out raciing motor for that. Oh and dont hold the throttle pinned in any gear to long or you can blow your motor.
