05Grizz Aulmin Prod. full skid, will Warn plow mount fit
#1
I have the full Alumium Products skid plate package as I'm shure many of you guys have. My 660 grizz is a 2005. I've talked with the Warn techs. They emailed and faxed me the mounting instruction for their Warn Plow.
Unfortunately the Email was blocked or never went through. The Fax did but the pics are all dark fuzz and cant make out what it looks like to see if I can make it fit with the skid on.
Looking for help from another Grizz owner thats been through this before with my brand skid and the Warn Plow.
Will the brackety bolt up per the factory instructions or do you have to fabricate/modify.
Thanks alot for your help. Aaron

the only plastic i have underneath my bike is the center skid,,,,i had to cut it (stock) in order to mount the bracket that the push tube mounts to,,,,just a guess, but i'd bet your gonna have to modify the center skid to except the bracket

The dirrections say you have to cut the factory skid for some reason. Thats what worries me. I got a flat bottom so cutting holes aren't a problem but cutting across or cutting big chunks out might be. I can barely tell that from the fuzzy picture that there are several bars and one goes across and the other bolts somehow to the sides.
Its like one of those things where a picture is worth a thousand words. I cant even begin contemplating how to make it work without seeing a clear picture of the plow mount and a pic of one attached.
If you go the Warns site they do not show a clear pic of the mounting brackets. Even though the Tech was cool and he faxed and emailed it on the spot I still cant make use of it due to lack of infomation.
Thanks HooPha. Anyone got any pics ?

its been a while since i installed it,and i leave the brackets on year round,,,,,,but if i recall correctly, the amount of cutting was very small, and towards the very edge,,,,,,furthermore if you leave the brackets on year round, the brackets will be sufficiant protection from the small amount (i do me small) of cutting
also, the brackets are real tough, and can take a good beating,,,,just a real pain to get to one bolt on either side under the footwell,,,one bolt on either side will chew up the same amount of time,as the rest of the system,,,,,hense the brackets stay on year round,,,,good luck
